fika - (Original)

"fika" is an 11" x 14" watercolor painting of delicious Swedish cinnamon buns. While the Swedish word fika means "to take a break with a coffee/tea and something sweet" it is also a concept of pausing and slowing down, taking a shared moment to connect. 

*painting is sealed with a cold wax medium to protect the watercolor paint from water and humidity.
