Saguaro - Oil Pastel

*This saguaro reminds me of my time spent camping at Joshua Tree when I lived in San Diego, CA. A place I miss and call home. The colors feel like a shimmering sunset across an evening sky. 

This painting is a part of my oil pastel canvas series. An everyday ritual of creating art within daily constraints. Each piece is unique and original, signed and dated. 

Vibrant and creamy Sennelier oil pastels are used on raw cotton canvas. 
The oil pastel has been sealed with an oil pastel fixative upon completion. 

This canvas comes in an 11" x 11" natural oak wood shadow box display frame, with tempered glass. The exterior depth of the frame is 2.4 inches.
The frame has hanging hardware attached.

Each canvas is cut and frayed by hand.
This canvas measures around 8" x 8".
As each piece is cut by hand, there may be slight differences in sizing. 
The canvas is mounted to foam board.
